About Us

Foundect is an AI-Supported ethical investment facilitation platform connecting halal-aligned capital with vetted small and medium enterprises.

Foundect is a facilitation platform designed to connect ethical investors with businesses seeking Shari'ah-aligned capital. We do not manage funds or guarantee returns. Our role is to provide structure, disclosure, and transparency so informed participation can take place responsibly.

Why Foundect Exists

Access to halal investment opportunities remains limited, fragmented, and opaque for many individuals and businesses.

Foundect was created to bridge this gap by introducing structured disclosures, ethical screening, and transparent participation for both investors and businesses.

We focus on:

  • Ethical capital access without interest-based mechanisms
  • Transparent participation rather than promised outcomes
  • Risk-aware decision making grounded in disclosure, not marketing

What the Platform Provides

Campaign-based investment facilitation

Businesses raise capital through structured campaigns with documented disclosures.

Dual onboarding system

Separate onboarding flows for investors and businesses with identity verification and compliance steps.

Admin-reviewed submissions

All campaigns undergo internal screening before being listed.

AI-powered assistance (Glyde)

Glyde is Foundect's internal AI system designed to assist with document structuring, risk summarization, campaign clarity, and administrative review support.

Glyde does not provide financial advice or investment recommendations.

Transparency-first interface

Clear documentation, defined terms, and visible risks across the platform.

Shari'ah Alignment and Ethical Framework

Foundect is built with Shari'ah-aligned investment principles at its core. Our platform avoids interest-based structures and focuses on ethical, asset-backed, and partnership-oriented participation models.

Important clarification: Foundect is not currently certified by an external Shari'ah board. Shari'ah alignment is assessed internally using established Islamic finance principles. Formal certification and advisory structures may be introduced in later phases.

We emphasize:

  • No riba (interest)
  • No prohibited sectors
  • Risk-sharing participation models
  • Clear disclosure and informed consent
  • Working on Mudarabah, Musharakah, Murabaha & Ijarah
